This website and its services are supplied by Matthew Cartlidge, an individual and sole trader trading as Energy Site ("we", "us", or "our"). Matthew Cartlidge is the supplier and your contracting party under these terms.

Use of the Website
You may use this website for personal, lawful purposes to view energy tariff information, charts, usage, and related features. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with availability, or use it in a way that could harm other users, services, or systems.
Energy Prices and Information
Tariff data, charts, usage, costs, and estimates are provided for general information only. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. You should confirm current prices, billing, and tariff terms with your energy supplier before making financial or energy-use decisions.
Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or limit access if we believe an account or the service is being misused. Standard customer accounts are disabled after 12 months without a successful sign-in and deleted after 24 months. You can delete your own account in Account Options.
Connecting an Octopus Account
If you connect an Octopus account, you confirm that you are entitled to use that API key and account data. The website will use the API key to retrieve account, tariff, meter, and usage details on your behalf.
Trials and Subscriptions
Some features may be offered as Free, Trial, or Premium features. While Premium is active, usage storage has no plan-based age limit. When Premium ends, there is a 7-day grace period before usage history is reduced to the Free plan's 100-day limit. Premium features may change as the site develops. Any payments, renewals, or cancellations will be handled through the relevant payment provider when live payments are enabled.
Third-Party Services
The website may use or link to third-party services, including Octopus Energy, email, payment, hosting, security, analytics, or external websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or policies.
No Official Affiliation
Energy Site is not affiliated with Octopus Energy. Octopus product names, tariffs, and data belong to their respective owners.
No Warranty
The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be accurate, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the website, including decisions based on displayed energy prices, usage, costs, or estimates.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law and Courts
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the website, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring legal proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights you have under the law of the country in which you live. If you are not a consumer, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
